Toole County includes the cities of Shelby, Ethridge, Galata, Kevin, Oilmont, Dunkirk, Sunburst and Sweetgrass. Situated in northern Montana, the Canadian line is Toole County's northern boundary, with the Marias River flowing along a major portion of its southern boundary. Toole County is made up of 1,915.65 square miles and has a population base on 2.8 persons per square mile.

What We Do

Montana Range Days

Thanks to the help of sponsors, the Montana Range Days program has accomplished so much in the past 44 years. An estimate of 12,100 participants have attended Montana Range Days. Ninety-three students have received $1000.00 scholarship money to pursue college degrees. Toole County held the Montana Range Days in 2022 and 2023. Ground Fabric and Equipment

We sell ground fabric rolls and rent out equipment on a first come first serve basis. The equipment we have for rent: fabric layer, (2) tree planters, hydraulic soil probe, and a transit and laser level.
